ERIC SPEVAK INDUCTED AS 81ST PRESIDENT CAMDEN COUNTY BAR ASSOC.Two New Charitable Initiatives Announced for Camden City Kids & Military Families HADDONFIELD, N.J. --- The law firm of Adinolfi and Spevak, PA announces that Managing Partner, Eric S. Spevak. Esq. will be installed as the 81st President of the Camden County Bar Association on the Battleship New Jersey on June 1st, 2007. The Camden County Bar Association is the second largest in the state of NJ and one of the oldest in the United States now celebrating their 126th year. Unique to this year's installation dinner will be Spevak's announcement of two new charitable initiatives approved by the Camden County Bar Foundation, which will be funded for the first time by the evening's event profits generated by the program ad book. The first is a school supply drive for Camden City elementary school kids. "The world was informed through the 20/20 special this past January, that Camden is the poorest city in the country, and we want to do our part to bring hope to their youngest residents," states Spevak. The second initiative is for a cause close to Spevak's heart, the families of deployed service men and women now serving overseas. Funds that will be raised from the Installation Dinner will go to the NJ National Guard Family Readiness Council, a non-profit, that provides monetary grants to military families in need. Spevak, the proud son of a WWII Veteran, has spearheaded many events that have show support to military and veterans alike during his annual Veterans Gala Dinner Dances and Thanksgiving Feed The Troop events. In fact, Spevak is dedicating the evening to our New Jersey troops still fighting overseas. In his professional career as a well-respected attorney, Spevak is perhaps best known for his role in the 2001 custody case over frozen embryos that were decided by the NJ Supreme Court, and was recently named by NJ Monthly Magazine as a Super Lawyer 2007 for the third year in a row. He is the recipient of numerous accolades for his humanitarian efforts, including the prestigious New Jersey Meritorious Service Medal (the highest civilian recognition awarded in NJ) and the National Guard Association of the United State's Patrick Henry Award for volunteerism directly benefiting the U.S. military. He was also named as Citizen of the Year by the JWV of the United States, Department of NJ. Mr. Spevak is also an appointee to the New Jersey World War II Commission by Governor Jon Corzine. Anyone interested in donating or participating in the ad book campaign to be distributed at the event on June 1st on the Battleship New Jersey for either the Camden City Kids School Supply Initiative or the NJ National Guard Family Readiness Council should contact Larry Pelletier before May 18, 2007 at the Camden County Bar Foundation Headquarters at 856-486-0620.
