(current President of the Camden County Bar Association) have worked together to arrange a benefit dinner dance to support our local families affected by troop deployments, as well as to thank generations of Cherry Hill veterans for their service to our nation. On Saturday, December 1, 2007, 5:30 p.m. at America's Best Value Inn Ballroom on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, our veterans, National Guard personnel, families, and supporters will gather to honor and remember our military and veterans and enjoy dancing to the Good Times Orchestra. The dinner dance proceeds will provide intermediary personal care items and clothing for returning injured soldiers and airmen from the ongoing conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan through the Ft. Dix ONE Fund, as well as provide monetary grants to families facing financial hardship during the deployment through the NJ National Guard Family Readiness Council. This need will become even more pressing as the NJ National Guard faces yet another historic deployment since WWII. This year's event will honor CN8 news reporter Jill Horner for her continued volunteer efforts and support for NJ's military and veterans groups. Special guests to include Dom Giordano from 1210 radio, host of the "The Big Talker", WWII most decorated soldier and Army Ranger Len Lommell, and NJ Senator John H. Adler, the keynote speaker.
